This page lists both a coloring derived from beetle eggs, carmine, and a coloring used in maraschino cherries. . .but not in association. It say carmine (red) comes from the cochineal beetle, but that Red Dye #4 is/was used in maraschino cherries (among other things perhaps?):

Snapple’s pink lemonade claims to contain “extracts of grape skin and cherry (for color)” - no cabbage.

They also once had a very good and tart cherry lemonade, that actually had cherry flavor instead of just color, but I can’t find that any more.
