What's the proper name for those wire panel things?

I know what they look like, I just can’t adequately describe or put nomenclature to or find a picture of them.

The panels are approximately 4’ by 8’ (all measurements approximate) and made out of wire (it’s not really wire, though - more like super-slim steel rods) that is about 1/4" in diameter. The wire is not woven - the verticals back the horizontals. At the bottom of the panels the wire forms rectangles approximately 1"x4" and gradually increases to rectangles measuring 5"x4".

What’s the stuff called, and can you find a good picture of it?

Rebar?

Close, but no. That’s used for reinforcement. The stuff I’m looking for is usually used for fencing.

I’m with friedo in that I think you saw rebar.

Where did you see it, what was it connected to, and what was around it?

I do military contstruction for a living.

Hog panels.

If it’s in rolls, it might be non-climb horse fence.

These?

w00t! Thanks! Had no idea what that stuff was called. You win! A whole dollar! Send me your email and I’ll PayPal you a buck.

Whoa.

My apologies. When you said “panel”, and “4’ x 8’” and “wire” at “1/4 inch”, I was thinking: “Distribution panel!”

Serves me right. I’m not even in the same ballpark.

Hell, not even the same friggin’ sport!!

Nonono! It’s ok! I know what you’re talking about and should’ve specified FENCING NOT REBAR in my OP. The pic Ms. Jules found is longer than the 8’ stuff I’m used to but it’s the same thing.
