Yeast allergies, not infections.
Often when I drink beer, and I never know what number beer this will happen on as it depends on the kind of beer, I begin to sneeze, eyes, water, throat gets sore, then I get incredibly tired, a horrible sinus headache begins and I feel like crap for the rest of the night and well into the next day, an ungodly sinus headache, incredibly stuffed up nose, and vomiting that takes up to 5 hours to stop.
This happened to me again on Saturday at a party, after only 3 pints of beer over a 5 hour period. It was some kind of Belgium beer. I never got the name.
I had a buzz but was not drunk and the next day I wanted to die. It was actually worse than a hangover becuase with a honagover I can drink water and eat some saltine crackers and be fine in an hour or so. This illness yesterday and some other days after drinking certain kinds of beer was hours of throwing up and I could not even keep down a tiny sip of water. I was also noticing a slight difficulty in breathing. (Not so difficult that I felt likeI should call 911) but bad enough for me to take notice.)
After describing these symptoms to a friend, she told me I may have an allergy to yeast and that is what is making me sick, affecting liver enyzmes which hurts your system even more by adding alcohol to it.
What is the yeast allergy all about? I Googled it and never got an concise or clear explanations. What would an allergy to yeast to do me? My friend says it could potentially be lethal.
