What's the Straight Dope on HeightMax?

On this site: http://www.heightmax.com/reasontotrykz4.htm , it says that is can make young adults 12 to 25 grow taller.

Is this true? Does it really work?

It’s a $2 a day vitamin pill. Nothing else.

Nobody can answer the question. It’s being marketed as a ‘supplement’, which means it doesn’t have to go through any of the stringent tests for medical products. All that they’re liable for is being sued for not living up to the promises they make. And you can guarantee there’s enough small print for them to wriggle out of anything.

Plus, the home company is www.shntech.com - and their ‘support & service’ page is under construction. :dubious:

No, it’s very simple to answer the question.

Just ask yourself: how is it advertised?

Is it advertised solely on the internet? Through newspaper ads? On television infomercials? Do you ever see ads with small print listing all known side effects and other data from scientific testing?

If the answer is yes to the first three and no to the last, then it’s a fraud. Simple as that.

I get lots of e-mail spam about how to make my penis many inches larger. My guess is you should just hit the delete key quick, and don’t believe this.

iN.Creese Yur peN is Siz Fast!!! Aslo: Va1ium V1@gakra!!! Xtra Cheep!

If it sounds too good to be true, its NOT some great medical miracle that has escaped widespread public attention. Its a bullshit scam.
