Is Heightmax a scam?

www.heightmax.com

They say that taking this product will help boost your growth, or something. I checked out their website and it does seem a little fishy. They don’t have any information on how it actually works or how it effects your body. I heard that Newsweek did an article about it but I’m not sure if it was a positive or a negative one. Anyone know if this stuff is any good? Or more importantly, if this stuff is any bad?

As a future life lesson, memorize the style of that ad/website. They are ALL a scam. Yes, I mean every single last one of them. There are ways to maximize height. Proper nutrition is one of them. You probably already get that. Then there are treatments for hormone deficiencies that supplement growth hormones and I am guessing that is not a proven issue with you.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof and there is none of that there for a reason. They do not have any. Science and reputable medicine rely on certain standards of proof and products such as these bypass FDA standards with clever wording.

In the interest of fighting ignorance, ANY time you see an ad like that assume that it is ploy to rid you of money with nothing in return unless the entire faculty of Harvard Medical School shows up at your door to convince you that it is effective.

That is right. ALL of them. Tell your friends and neighbors as well.

Well, the domain is registered to “funny health nutrition” at this address, which might make their “30-day Money Back Gaurantee” a mite suspect.

Two odd things I noticed…first it never says it will make you taller, never. What it does say is that it increases the rate of growth by10 to 25 percent. So you won’t get taller, you’ll just grow faster. Second, the testimonial page, isn’t a testimonial it’s the very short story of the inventor and his pathetic life of being short.
