Yep, it’s very dry here all the time. Dry cold is fine. Dry summer days that rarely go much over 80F, even better. Humidity is awful, horrible, and evil. Also, the snow we get is dry and powdery, so shoveling and whatnot isn’t as bad as it is in places with heavy wet snow. Not that it’s easy, but it’s a bit easier.
It’s supposed to get down to -8F tonight. -22C. Brrrrrrr. My poor car, I hope it’s okay in the morning, block heater or not that’s damned cold!
It’s 7℃ here in Niigata, but it is expected to climb as high as 11℃, and it’s not looking to get any colder anytime soon. It’s been unseasonably warm enough lately that the local ski resorts are holding extra ceremonies to pray for snow.
In Toronto at the moment, it is -2[sup]o[/sup] C/ 27[sup]o[/sup] F.
It snowed/sleeted a bit last night but there doesn’t seem to be any accumulation. Also, this was the first year since they have been keeping records that there was no snow in Toronto in the month of November.
