What's the weather like where you are? Does it feel like the holidays?

It’s not very cold here, and we haven’t had a single snowfall yet. Our last precipitation was rain last week, because it’s been so unseasonably warm. It IS cold enough to snow at night, but we haven’t gotten any precipitation at ngiht. And I live in the midwest! Off of Lake Michigan! It always snows a lot here! It doesn’t feel at all like a holiday, to me. I can’t say I’m complaining per se, but then I’m not a big fan of Christmas or snow anyway. Anything that makes it feel less like a holiday is a plus, in my book.

I mean, I was driving home last night and saw Christmas lights and was really surprised for half a second. I literally forgot about it.

That was the most jarring thing about spending Christmas in Florida–it’d be sunny and warm, and then I’d see Christmas decorations and think “…eh? Oh yeah, it is Christmas, I guess.” Even after that realization, though, my brain was still going INCONGRUITY DETECTED.

Hey we got some snow this morning! It didn’t stick in the roads, but the grass was white and I had to broom off my car. Grr, I say.

I keep checking, but my invitation to spend Christmas with you doesn’t seem to have shown up.

It’s cold here, and the windchill makes it worse. (Well, it did - there’s not much wind today.) Today’s high should top out at 15-20F. We’ve got a bit of snow, but a lot of it is burning off, so I don’t know how much’ll stick around.

I think it’s supposed to warm up some next week.

No dammit. It was cold yesterday but it’s back in the 40s today. I’ve built one fire over the last 2 weeks (yesterday) and I have the heat set to 60 and the boiler STILL isn’t kicking on.
Friggen hell. I can handle not having a white Christmas but I don’t know if I can handle a balmy one.

I was in Disney for my birthday in 2010. It’s strange enough to have the weather be warm on my birthday (I usually get a snowstorm) but they still had all the Christmas decorations up (n January). There’s just something wrong about Christmas decorations and palm trees at the same time.

We’ve finally had a couple of warm days after the coolest ever start to December, so it is actually starting to feel Christmasy.

70 and pure blue skies. But it feels like Christmas, because around here, this is what December weather is like (Tucson).

Partly cloudy with ocassional showers, high 84F low in the mid 70s. Cool and mild in the higher elevations with lows in the upper 50s. Light winds. Feels like Feliz Navidad, all right.

It’s been pretty cold. We had a slight warm spell, which isn’t unusual, but now it’s really cold for the area and people are wondering if we’ll get a white Christmas (which would mean ‘a teeny bit of snow’). Quite frosty over here.

It’s been a rather warm autumn, but it seems that the temperatures have finally went down consistently enough that we won’t need to leave our air conditioner in the window.

O for the days when we had working central heating and air!
