This is pretty vague… but…
It’s a recent song… and one of the lines in the chorus finishes with a guy saying “… Runaway, Runaway.”
It isn’t The Corrs song “Runaway” and it isn’t that song that goes
“Runaway, Runaway, Runaway if you want to survive.”
Anyone have any idea what it is?
May you be thinking of Aerosmith’s “Janie’s Got a Gun”? IIRC, there’s a part in the song that may sound similar to what you describe.
I take it it doesn’t go “Runaway, a-run run run run runaway”? (In which case it would be Del Shannon’s Runaway)
The Aerosmith song goes “Runaway, runaway from the pain” IIRC.

No it’s a techno song, not Sugar Ray, I have it on a compilation CD but I don’t have it handy. I’ll look it up in a bit if someone doesn’t beat me to the punch.
