Have M&M’s gotten shinier lately, or is it just me??? I have been a big M&M eater for years, but in the last two weeks or so the packs I have gotten seem to have a different “candy shell.” What gives?

When they killed the last tan M&M I felt like part of my childhood died too. But what about the shells?? Are they messing with them now too? What’s next, sour M&M’s? Why can’t they just leave my M&M’s alone?

Caramel M&Ms are insidious things.
MsRobyn sent me a whole case of them at Tech School. I am now approximately 10 pounds overweight. Upon reading the label, I understand why. They have 56% of the US RDA for saturated fat PER PACKAGE! :eek:

I hate this new “choose the new color” campaign. I think all of the proposed colors suck, but even so the only possible choice is purple. It’s the only secondary color in the lot and I don’t think we should go to tertiary colors before exhausting the other six spots on the color wheel.

I missed out on the red white & blue ones. I guess I buy a bag and sort em myself, but that doesn’t seem normal.
You know why the colors suck? They’re Skittles colors. Do I need to confuse Skittles with M&M’s? Purple says grape to me. What with all the food exchanges that go on around here, it may be time to open up the SDMB Quickie Mart, where we can freely exchange regional and hard-to-get goodies.

You Murkins do know that the M&M company is just changing them to look more like Smarties, right? Too bad they’re not putting Smartie chocolate inside them.
