This was a much more interesting thread than I thought it would be reading the title.
I have nothing against Bow-Ties… in fact, I would love to buy one, learn to tie it and wear it. So long as the end result is more Harrison Ford-ish as opposed to Paul Simon-ish (the politician)
Ties are like clothes, and clothes like anything all depend on the wearer. It is truely, after all, not what you wear, but how you wear it.
As a rule though, I hardly EVER wear ties… the ties I do have are all carefully picked out conversation pieces (Looney Tunes, Winnie the Pooh, Dilbert.) A bow-tie would actually fit in quite nicely in that category. I figure if I gotta wear a tie, it might as well be fun.
