For some reason my computer won’t take me to ATMB so I’ll post this here and ask a mod to move it. Can someone move this for me? Anyway, howcome when you quote something you have to type the word quote in all caps? The other codes are in lowercase, and I keep messing up because I don’t put ‘quote’ in Caps.
Before this goes to ATMB I’ll put my .02 in.
You don’t. I have never used caps with the quote command and it has always worked fine.
It shows the QUOTE and CODE tags in caps on the vB codes help page, but this is just an inconsistency in the style of the documentation I think.
In other words, vB isn’t case sensitive–it doesn’t matter whether it’s in upper-case or lower-case.
If your quotes are still messing up, my WAG is that it’s because you’re missing the “/” before the final “[ /quote ]”
Also, here’s another hint: use Preview to make sure your quotes look right.

OK, so that’s settled. Now howcome you can’t get into ATMB?
I’m not going to move this thread there, for obvious reasons. Please email me or Lynn so we can work that out.
I think my connection was just screwing up. I got cut off not long after I posted the OP. I get get to ATMB fine now.
