I’ve seen commercials with women whispering.
Is this supposed to be the new Cool Thing?
I’d call it a gimmick to get you to turn up the volume and keep watching. That and a woman whispering is kind of a sexual marketing ploy. Just another attempt to get more clicks.
Yup - before I clicked on it I thought “I bet this is an ASMR thing.” And that’s what it says right at the top of the video.
Good god, It just makes me irritated. I’ve always encountered it when someone’s selling a scam, so I associate it with that.
It annoys me.
I don’t trust those who whisper a conversation at me.
I remember in 2nd grade a girl whispered at me, I got closer, she whispered even quieter, i put my ear directly up to her lips…
…and she spit in my ear.
Sure didn’t work on me. I only find it mildly annoying.
But, if she gets the clicks I am sure she doesn’t care. I am only sad that this might actually work on anyone.
As I get older and more hard-of-hearing, I’ve told my wife she needs to start shouting sweet nothings in my ear.
