What's wrong with David Boreanaz lower jaw?

So does being cross-eyed, and he’s barely on the good side of that (and this comes from someone who finds the guy attractive…).

If they were fat jowls, they’d appear in the latter years of “Angel” when Boreanaz put on about 30 pounds or so (that’s my best guess anyway). He slimmed down again once he got the Bones role.

He definitely doesn’t have an “angelic” face as it’s way too masculine. But he’s got strong lines, which I find very appealing.

FYI, Joss Whedon says on the “Buffy” commentary that he really wasn’t keen on Boreanaz playing the role of Angel until he looked at Marti Noxon and the other women in the room. Apparently they were in puddles after his audition. And that sealed in for Whedon.

I hate his forehead, though. And there’s something weird about his lips.

I mean, I like him, in a kind of maternal sense. I guess he’s good looking - I find him much more attractive on Bones, because I like his character a lot as a realistic kind of guy, and it isn’t as stylized as Angel and Buffy. I mean, an FBI agent in his 40’s doesn’t have to look like the epitome of gorgeous, but a vampire who everybody natters on about how fine he is better look like a damned Old Master painting, you know? So he was always a little disappointing in the looks department as his character went, you know? (Plus, Angel as opposed to Angelus kind of ran the gamut from a to b, you know?)

I feel like I’ve watched him grow up, you know? And he isn’t a good actor, but he definitely gets the Most Improved award. I’m not sure I could go back to those first few seasons of Buffy with him.

[Three Sisters] Mmmm… Angel. [/TS]

Oh, god. I think I said “you know” a thousand times in that post. My inner teenager just popped out, I guess. Sorry. You know.

And shit.

Like, whatever.

Well, he ws right the first time… pretty he was, actor he wasn’t. I never understood how anyone could fail to see how complete superior Spike/Marsters was in every imaginable way: the character, the actor, the appearance, the back story, the now story, the sex appeal, the everything.

I’m the same way with Marg Helgenberger (CSI the original) – I simply cannot listen to what she says for staring at her mouth.

Is that just a collegen injection gone wrong or was she in an accident or something?

(They’ve had several story lines that insisted she’s so beautiful men go gaga over her, which always makes me blink because the mouth thing makes her repulsive in my eyes.)

Spike was great. The only time I liked Angel as a character better than Spike, was when spike was doing that absolutely pathetic stalking and moping stuff.

No, Spike was probably cooler than Angel even then.

I don’t think it was Boreanaz’s fault or anything though.

I saw her in a movie before all the collagen injections (“Species”) - she truly was gorgeous. I don’t know where she got the idea to mess up her lips, but mess them up she did.

It looks to me like he had silicone injected or implanted to square his jaw. He’s clearly uncomfortable and insecure about it. He’s painfully aware of his chin as well.

I’m betting a chin implant, plus a bit on each side higher up to create a dimple or cleft. Only now he gained and then lost weight, so it’s moving around on him.

I’ll take the wrinkles, thanks.

I googled to find out what was wrong with his lip, which is what I believe this question is referring to not his jaw? It looks like he may have been bit by a dog, it looks like scar tissue In the corner of his mouth. His R side or as you look at him on the L side, just below the lip on both sides of the smile line. I noticed that it may have caused nerve damage as it sometimes droups, and you can see a dimple as well.

As far as his hair goes I don’t see what people are talking about, I wish I had thick full hair like him.
