What's wrong with my TV/TIVO?

Maybe this isn’t the right forum for this, but I don’t really use any message boards other than the SDMB, so here goes…

I’ve got a cable box and a TIVO (TIVO, by the way, is man’s greatest discovery since penicillin…but, we’ll save that discussion for a different thread) A couple of weeks ago, the volume on BRAVO became almost completely inaudible. When I plug the cable directly in to the TV or the cable box, it works fine, but as soon as I reconnect TIVO, that one channel lose about 95% of its volume. Any ideas?

Have you tried restarting, not resetting, your TiVo?

Failing that, there are some very knowledgeable folks here.

I’ll second asking over at www.tivocommunity.com, it’s like Stright Dope, but for TiVo, plus some people that actually work at TiVo are on the boards. Even if they can’t fix the problem they’ll be interested to hear about it.
