I have a friend who’s an aspiring DJ named Daniel J. Burge. In an inspiring bit of synchronicity, my name happens to be Mackenzie C. Hume. That’s right, DJ Burge and MC Hume. I sometimes feel that it’s some sort of cosmic sign that we should team up and start playing raves. If only I had a sense of rhythm and didn’t hate house music so much.

Yeah I use Patrick for my morning classical shift. But it’s one of those things, maybe comparable to girls who practice their monograms or come up with the name of their future husband judging by what name they thought sounded best with theirs. Or was that just my sister.

IMO, the whole “DJ [insert word here]” naming system is played out. I would rather just use my actual name (which people say is pretty cool), Solomon.
Although I wouldn’t use it, there’s something to be said for DJ Manhole.

Actually, if you want to be a DJ, you could always go to your local hospital and see if they have a Radio station and are looking for volunteers. I did it for 2 years and it was great fun.
And I Went simply by the name “John” and did an hour long show of Soul. Ain’t nothing that can get a ward rocking like Jackie Wilson. 
*btw, radio attracts way more stalkers than TV.
