I won’t miss: Six Feet Under, American Idol, 24, Monster Garage, Iron Chef and The Amazing Race (welcome back, you’ve been gone too long!) And I am also getting hooked on Extreme Makeover.
No Cable here.
NBC- Law & Order: The Original (It’s that Sam Watterston thing)
ABC- Most watched: Nightline
CBS- As The World Turns Yes, I know it’s almost cheating with a soap, but Prime Time comercial TV is dead in this house.
PBS- Red Green, Antiques Roadshow, Ask This Old House, Nova, American Experience,
Yes, We love our PBS (now, If they would just make Fridays worth tuning in for)
I miss While You Were Out
Buffy is the only show I tape every week so that I don’t miss it.
Amazing Race is my only plan my life around, I’m not answering the phone during this hour, must-see show. Yay! New episodes!
The only shows I watch:
24
The Late Show With David Letterman
Late Night With Conan O’Brien
The Daily Show
The Simpsons
The Sopranos
Malcolm In The Middle
Various news shows
Buffy and The Shield. Onlyshows I’ll buy DVDs for.
Angel
“The Simpsons” is the only current, ongoing series I watch faithfully. If we can count limited-run shows, I’ve started getting into the PBS/BBC “reality” shows such as “Frontier House” and “Manor House”.
The West Wing and ** Law & Order** are really the only shows I make time to watch these days.
Boomtown is an excellent but overlooked show…I think it’s in hiatus right now, but I hope they bring it back for some new eps this summer. It’s one of those shows where you are afraid to start to like it too much because you know they will pull the rug out from under it! It reminds me of Homicide: Life on the Streets.
SIx Feet Unda
Six Feet Under
Smallville, I never miss it. If I"m going to miss it, I tape it and I have my brother tape it as well just in case one of the VCR’s mess up. Some runners up would probably be Everwood and The Gilmore Girls
CHAPPELLE’S SHOW ALL THE WAY
Another vote for Six Feet Under. I love the characters, their interactions, how they actually grow, develop & change.
I’m a middle-aged, hetero male soap opera fan.
Angel beats out the rest.
Scrubs
Far and away the best thing Television has to offer. It, along with the Simpsons, is the only appointment TV I watch.
HelloKitty – good news, they renewed Boomtown – and it is, in fact, going into Homicide’s old slot, Friday at 10.
Oh. Wow. My list of favorites is so “me too”.
West Wing – IMHO, the best written and acted show in the history of TV. You know they’re doing something good if my anarcho-capitalist self respects and roofs for these virulent left-wingers every week.
24
Buffy
Simpsons
I haven’t seen Angel the last season and a half due to scheduling conflicts, but I was once a rabid fan. I imagine if I’d kept up I still would be.
I also like Third Watch, but it was kind of hit or miss this season, and they killed off my favorite (and the cutest) character.
24
Conan
Daily Show
Letterman
Buffy
At the moment I’m addicted to Big Brother - the Australian version.
Though my usual favourites have been mention:
Simpsons
Scrubs
Gilmore Girls
but also,
Absolutely Fabulous
Will & Grace
All Saints ( Aussie show)
