I love which ever one is coming up next and gets me off work. Yay Columbus Day!
4th. Cookouts,beer and good friends.Good times.
EVERY day is Steak and a Blowjob Day in Thailand.
So, what does that have to do with the Instant Beef Flavor Paste or, GUA VU NAU PHO (Made in Thailand, marked EXPORT ONLY that I bought from Sam’s Oriental Grocery? Strange name…anyway, instructions: “Put one spoonful of paste in 3 cups of water, add beef as required, then boiling gently till cook.”
Groundhog Day. It’s also my birthday.
It’s all in the special sauce.
What is gua vu nau pho? That sounds Vietnamese. It’s certainly not Thai. Pho is a Vietnamese dish. They must make it here in Thailand for export.
In general, I like Jewish holidays better than secular ones, because at least Jewish holidays are marked by more than, “Hey, a day off; let’s go shopping.” Thus holidays where there’s a constant reminder that it’s a holiday top my list. Passover is up there, and we just finished Sukkot tonight. And I like Purim for the sheer fun bit.
Sneaky fellows, those guys.
I like New Year’s. The friends, drunken partying, and fireworks of the 4th of July but it’s not sweltering hot outside. I love hanging out around a bonfire breathing the cool winter air. Plus smooches at midnight, what’s not to love?
Christmas is my favorite holiday, but the most important to me(a slightly different thing) is Easter.
Thanksgiving because you give with no strings attached. There is no deciding whether your present cost more than someone else’s. You just give.
