I’m going to be doing a lot of web development soon, and haven’t yet found the perfect, ultimate web page editor. What’s your favorite?
It doesn’t have to be WYSIWYG, but it would be nice if it supports code-completion / Intellisense and code collapsing.
Wordpad, baby. Raw code for raw people!
Adobe Go live is what I use.
Wordpad - Ha! I burning your Wordpad!
Like LouisB , I use Notepad. No muss, no fuss.
EditPlus. It’s basically a text editor with plugins for syntax highlighting.
What’s my favorite? gvim But that’s not a recommendation unless you’re a fellow vi-head.

I’m another Dreamweaver fan, because it allows me to easily bounce between raw code and WYSIWYG modes. I also use UltraEdit sometimes as well, but more for when I need to do very specific tasks like weird global search & replace problems, etc.

Textpad. Notepad when I’m feeling oldschool.
Textpad on the windows side
emacs on unix
Now, Notepad.
In my mac days, BBEdit.
BBEdit ruled.
My favorite HTML editor is 5’7", with dark brown hair and legs that won’t quit. Her name is Katherine, and she’s hot.
