Mine’s set to open whatever pages were open when I last closed the browser. If I closed right now, next time my start page would be this thread, the Today’s Active Threads page here on the SDMB, and a page of midwives in Texas.
But I work in the jewelry industry, so it’s not as weird as it sounds.
Another person whose browser opens to a blank page.
I open to about:blank, but my “home” button is www.straightdope.com, and its usually the first place I go to. I use Mozilla and tabs, so I don’t like opening a new tab into a homepage, so I just deal with the blank at the beginning.
Now that I wrote that out…I wonder if tabs are controlled differently…? … … nope, doesn’t seem to, but I’ll keep looking!
