What's your lastest injury? Mine bloody eye.

Rugby boot and elbow at high speed…it didn’t help that the woman wearing the boot was a seven-foot Amazon!

I don’t get it. How do callouses and Krazy Glue help you?

Tendonitis in both arms. From knitting too much.

No laughing. I went crazy for the two weeks I wasn’t allowed to knit – winter break and I was deprived of my favorite hobby. Now I can only knit for fifteen minutes at a time, and for my current project, that’s only two rows. I estimate I’ll finish it sometime around 2010.

I closed the main door to the building on my thumb. It is now a lovely black colour, and is slowly coming off.

Nice.

Hell, I don’t know.

I bruise real easy, you see. If I ever get married and want to sue the hubby for assault with injury, I don’t even need him to actually have hit me, it’s rare for me to not have any bruises.

But I don’t know which of the current ones is newer.

Whould that be the whole thumb or the thumbnail? Waiting for the thumb to drop off would be icky for sure.

Lucky for you you have access to liquid pain reliever right there at work.

Heh, that could either be marital arts or martial arts. I’m going with marital.

i can’t top NurseCarmen, but mine’s interesting if nothing else: i was attacked by a bathroom vanity drawer.

seriously.

i was walking through the bathroom when my robe, which wasn’t belted around me, caught the edge of a slightly-open drawer and yanked it clean out of it’s rails.

before i could blink, it had come down on my lower right leg. the rail, which i learned much to my personal misfortune, is quite surprisingly sharp-edged.

end result, a lovely inch-and-a-half crosswise gash (that’s going to leave a 1/2-wide scar for quite some time to come) that bled like there was no tomorrow. i still can’t believe a drawer rail did that much damage!! i’ve publicly accused the dive master of sharpening those rails just to annoy me. :stuck_out_tongue:

:smack:

I meant to say the thumb nail. I’m pretty sure the thumb will stay where it is.
