I just took it and got ISFJ, the “defender” personality type. I must say it’s a pretty accurate description of me.
I got INAA.

I can agree with that. There are a lot of other systems that do the same thing, but only divide people into 4 categories and make those categories broadly work related. Those are the systems that sell one or two day classes to a lot of businesses and agencies.
I’m an INXP. And I’m always really ambivalent about the result because I’m always second guessing the answers. It seems like basing personality assessment on a survey will be most likely to give you the personality that you identify with, not necessarily the personality you have.
I approve of this assertion. But if you don’t have at least three other possible personality types, you’ll never sell your class.

My complaint with MBTI is that each dimension is binary. e.g. you’re either I or E. Yes, some later flavors introduced X for “too close to call”. The reality is there ought to be about a 10 point scale running from 0 = hardover I to 9 = hardover E.
And likewise the other 4 dimensions.

I’m pretty much down the middle for most of the choices, except that I veer very far to the J side.
Yeah, I don’t take them as gospel or anything, but as another INFP male I think it does explain why I don’t get along very well with other people despite not being hostile or rude in my personality.
I would guess most people on this forum are I’s and J’s, the two middle ones being more variable.
I took it a few times and got wildly divergent results, so I’m going with IHOP.

First tested in high school 20+ years ago and retested a few times since, most recently last year. The retesting tends to be prompted by something like this thread making me wonder whether I’ll get a different result. I have never gotten any other result.
