I’ve never had a speeding ticket. I ran a stop sign once that I didn’t see because of construction. That’s in, um, 13 years, I guess.
My rate is just under one every year.
I drive too fast.
26 years on the road and I have been cited 4 times, altho I had one charge dropped (no plea bargain type thing; the city dropped the charge when I told them I was prepared to fight them in court).
So I had 3 citations in the first 7 years I was driving, and none in the last 19 or so. That’s like .154 citations per year. Not bad, but I think I can get that number down in a year or so
17 years driving, I think 4 speeding tickets–though one was completely not my fault (17, first day in a brand new town, apartment complex dumped into the middle of a school zone, so no sign.) No speeding tickets in the last decade or so. Couple-three tickets for tag violations over the years.
Been driving 25 years, 3 tickets (1 too fast for conditions, 2 speeding). The last one was in 1987.
I’m liable to get one any day now, though, if I don’t put my sticker on my license tag soon.
Ten years on the road and no tickets so far. I was pulled over once for running a red light (at the end of a line of cars) but got just a warning.
No public parking tickets either, but two from work (warning, no charge, and the second one $10). I ran through EZPass once without a pass but never got any notification from that.
Let’s see, since 2000 I have had one speeding ticket (driving through Ohio). Before that, I have had three speeding tickets and ran a stop sign once. I’ve been driving since 1991. That’s about a quarter of a ticket a year. I’ve been stopped by police another four or five times and have gotten off with a warning.
I got one a couple of years ago because I misread the meter (I thought it was out of order, and thus no charge). Other than that, nothing.
22 years with a full license, zero moving violation citations. One written warning for speeding (77 in a 65) back in the early '90’s.
2 in 30 years. That’s basically .067. Once for driving with an expired license tag, and the other for *“disregarding red light.”
I went to traffic court on the second one, and had my speech ready: “Your honor, it says I disregarded a red light. That is not true. I have high regard for red lights, especially houses with red lights.” Didn’t get to use it, though.
*What can I say? It was late at night, and there was no cross traffic. It had turned red a split second before I entered the intersection, so the cross traffic had not yet turned green. Still illegal, though.
Oh, and there was a cop stopped in the cross traffic lane, waiting for it to turn green.
I’ve not had good luck with cars, only one speeding ticket but something like 3 at fault accidents. (I just don’t do well with cars, they either get stolen, break down or are wrecked.)
My grandmother on the other hand got her first traffic ticket shortly before turning 60.
I have yet to get a traffic ticket, and I’m just shy of 50. I don’t know if I’m just lucky or actually a good driver. I’d bet on the former.
I’ve had quite a few; at least 5. Many other warnings. I like to drive fast, I really do. But, I’ve never had a serious accident or did more than $500 worth of damage to any car.
I’m 40, and have yet to be pulled over, much less cited for anything.
Well, I’ve been driving with a license for about 8 years now and had never gotten pulled over. So no traffic violations.
I did get a stupid fucking parking ticket once for an “abandoned vehicle”. $160 IIRC. I parked my car outside of the apartment I lived which had tons of free parking. Though, I’d usually park in the same spots since that particular spot was always empty and the closest to my apt. Some asshole cop decided to ticket me for it. Sure, I should have noticed the faint yellow markings on my tires, but I don’t examine my tires every time I get in my car. I think the law is 24 hours in the same spot. Not sure, but something lame. What’s the point of free public parking if I have to constantly move my car to other spots…
The next to last ticket I got was about 12 years ago. I’ve got one now for speeding in a construction zone; it’s totally bogus and I’m taking it to court.
4 tickets and 2 warnings in 25 years.
I get pulled over for something once every two or three years on average. Works out to about 1 ticket every 45K miles.
I’ve received 2 speeding tickets (I think… maybe only 1), and maybe two accident tickets, none of these in the last 10 years. Driving 18 years. I do speed, sometimes, but not often, and not in ticket-likey situations or conditions.
ETA : lots of non-moving violations, i.e. parking, tags, etc.

5 over almost 40 years. Two accidents. One speeding. One running a red light. The remaining one was for a left turn at a time of day it was not allowed (BTW it was my very first ticket). This was dismissed because the officer didn’t write the time on the ticket.
Let off with a verbal warning 4-5 times.
