Straight-up bets, box pool numbers, “you’ve gotta streak the quad if the Giants win”-style prop bets…what’s on the line for you?
My wife made it to the final round of the pool that I run – a Pats win gets her $200, and a Giants win nets her $700.
We’ve also got a couple of boxes – I have G4/P7 (not a bad one at all) and G5/P0, while my wife has G8/P4 and G6/P3 – $100 or $150 per quarter.
What’ve you got?
Nothing. I only bet on a sure thing - like the powerball.
I sometimes will get in a pool, but this year none were forthcoming.

I didn’t bet any football this season, actually, which would surprise people who know me. (And, naturally, my spreadsheet picked winners at a 60% clip. Would’ve made a killing. . .)
