WHAY???? I'm the first one up MMP?

We free-feed the cats, so that’s not an issue, but yeah, the bladder can be damned inconsiderate.

Oh, yes, and it’s snowing right now. Dammit! Very tiny little flakes that are barely giving a white cast to the driveway, but still, snow. ugh.

A dumb, balding, North American ape.

Blurf.

It’s my friend’s birthday today. The one I was playing Scrabble with on Skype yesterday. He’ll be in town in a week or two and I hope I’ll get to see him.

Current music: music by another of my friends, who writes jazz-rock music.

Think of it as an investment.

Happy Firday!

It’s a chilly 20 degrees outside but the sun is shining so that is good.
It’s supposed to get up in the 50s on Thorsday. I am ready for that.

No signs of mice lately, I guess the poison is doing it’s thing. No sign of the cute kitty either, maybe its been cold enough that it is staying home.

Leftover pizza for breakfast.

Otherwise SSDD

My pension has been deposited. It cover our mortgage with about $600 to spare. No way we could live on that - our electric bill and heating oil come to about $300. Then there’s gasoline, insurance, groceries, phone, cable, internet, medical copays… Which is why we’ve got an IRA, and in a few more years, we’ll have annuities kick in. Luckily, since my sweetie went back to work, we have a nice cushion now and we can save again. Plus the temporary drop in gas prices has been nice.

I’ve said it before and I’ll repeat it: SAVE FOR RETIREMENT!! IT COMES SOONER THAN YOU THINK!!!

Oh yeah, and it’s still snowing. Snow sucks!! Luckily, it’s warm enough that the flakes are melting when they hit the pavement, so there’s that.

Iffn you told Doggio & me how to turn in our timesheets mebbe we wouldn’t need to bitch & whine at ya.
Ya know, since yas hasn’t given us the necessary instructions to prevent bitchin’ & whinage, one can only conclude that you like bitchin’ & whinage directed your way! :dubious:

I don’t know if/when I’ll retire. I’ve never planned that far ahead in life, for somewhat depressing reasons I won’t trouble anyone with. I try to think ahead though. But it’s hard to save money when I’m not working at a steady job and I just don’t have much money.

I want to find a good-paying, steady job so I can have a nice-sized soundproof apartment in or near downtown and have parties all the time and play music when I can and… while I’m dreaming, I’d like $100,000, a Selmer Paris contra-alto clarinet, and a cheese sandwich.

…I’m rambling, aren’t I?

Well, back to work on the music arrangement books.

Good practice for retirement.

Swampy, I haven’t got a timesheet.

Where do I get a timesheet from?

How do I fill it in?

Who signs it?

What’s my name?

The directions on how to fill in a time sheet and how to turn it in are on the dang time sheet. Plus you have access to the tutorial, and sample completed time sheets. Plus you were at both trainin’ sessions on how to fill in time sheets and how to access the online trainin’. You even demonstrated your knowledge and understandin’ of how to do all this. So There! :stuck_out_tongue: You didn’t turn it in on time so tough!

Oddly enough, I have had on IRL whinin’ or bitchin’ this mornin’. Guess they’ve finally figured out it won’t do any good.

I ate too many brownies today!
And I’ll be going downtown this afternoon/tonight.

Other than that, I got nothin’.

When they do the viewing at my funeral, the usual 2-4 and 7-9pm traditional in my family, I’ll spend the 3 hours between at work. It’s just that much of a force of habit for me. I haven’t been without some sort of job for longer than 2 months since I was like 8 years old.

I remember at my old job, I had to sign my hours on a sheet. Apparently I was the only employee who did it regularly without having to be nagged.

Spock has died. I has a :frowning:

It’s been years since I’ve had to fill out a time sheet.
What I hated filling out was billing sheets so the department I worked in could bill the other departments for the work I had done.

I need to vacuum, dog hair is everywhere. We’re stretching the doggie baths out to two weeks and see how he does. Sp far he’s not being itchy.
Dishes need to be washed.

I should be irking but sometimes I have had enough.

Remember!

SWAMPY! I didn’t get paid today!

Emily, I can’t do much for the rest of your wish list, but I’ll send you a cheese sandwich, if you like. What kind of cheese?

I received an invitation last night to go to a community theater production of Fiddler on the Roof. I will be accompanied by my SIL, great niece and great nephew.

So? Go stand in a soup line. Go sleep under an underpass. That’ll learn ya to turn in your time on time. :stuck_out_tongue:

We can’t all be the King, some must sit on the curb and have as Swampy drives by.

Me too
