WHAY???? I'm the first one up MMP?

I haven’t accomplished much.
I woke up feeling bad so I took a nap after my morning irk shift.

I think today will be a pizza day.

**Spidey **- our truck is the bottom-of-the-line basic vehicle. No power locks or power windows or power mirrors or power seats. So the key is just a key. I just need to find a hardware store that makes keys. Lowe’s has a machine that only does house keys.

I thought the sun was breaking thru, but it’s not. And according to the extended forecast, we won’t get above freezing till Sunday, except that it’s 33° right now, so barely above.

Cold and dreary sucks.

I thought that your not so secret identity was Peter Parker.

Spiderman, the Skype Scrabble game was played on a little magnetic Scrabble board keychain that I had. I showed my friend the available letters and the board, and he told me what words to put where. Of course, it was my usual free-for-all Scrabble playing style, with abbreviations, words in other languages, and misspellings allowed. I’m terrible. :stuck_out_tongue:

Midget, I’ve played a scrabble game wherein we could play made up words, providing we could reasonably define said word.

Howdy from da cave! Da bear had a rough day at [del]the inner most circle of hell[/del] irk. A participant who happens to train in the employment office where the orifice is located had a “dizzy spell” (actually three of ‘em) this mornin’. Because he fell and he’s eighty eight years old, the paramedics were called. He refused treatment. I then insisted that he go home for the day and to let me drive him home in his vehicle while someone followed me to bring me back. He was ok with that, so we did. He lives probably a good twenty miles away. Anywho, this is not the first time, second time, or even third time he’s done this. I talked with his daughter (he lives with her) and she told me he’s been diagnosed with AD. Sigh. I shall be doin’ my best to talk him into takin’ a medical exit. Plus last week he told me he left his church and it took him two and a half hours to get home. It’s at best a twenty minute ride from there to where he lives. That scares me y’all. Then there was other over the top crazy interspersed. Thus, dindin was made courtesy of the sto’. I picked up some fried chikin, mac ‘n cheese, lima beans and rolls, all already made in the sto’ deli. Don’t judge!

rosie and Midget I like to play Scrabble[sup]TM[/sup] like that. I once convinced three people that Xero is an alternate spellin’ of Zero.

I am sans adult supervision tonight as OYKW has gone to a meetin’ and is stayin’ at his place tonight since it’s closer to where the meetin’ is, so’s I can’t blame him. I know, rosie, I know.

Emily, I still have the sooper-dooper dee-luxe Scrabble board (one with a lazy Susan base and little insets for the tiles) that was a gift from an old boyfriend. He was a lousy boyfriend but a hell of a Scrabble player.

swampy, the only judgment that I’ll make for your day is that you’re up on the karma points.

Mooom, I swung by O’O’Reilly’s and had a spare set of keys to leave in Miss Sarah’s care. They do both house and vehicle keys.

There needs to be more music in this world. I should get to work on that.

Time to recline! MWAH!!

I’ve been watching Bait Car. I don’t know why because I usually don’t like those kinds of shows but these people are so stupid it’s like watching a train wreck.

I think I’m too cynical
When my friend told me her daughters bf told her daughter not to worry about finishing school, that he will get a job and take care of her and the baby
My first though was yeah he wants to keep her pregnant, barefoot and in the kitchen, keep her uneducated so she can’t get a job and leave him, make sure she is totally dependent on him so he has control.
My fried asked me if I really believed that and I said probably not, he’s only 18, too young and stupid to think that far ahead.
Maybe I do need an attitude adjustment.

Someday I’d like to sleep alone instead of with Mel.

My dad is trying to make brownies.

I’m finished my music arrangements for now, for the most part. I’m trying to organize them into books.

My ex husband tried to make brownies once
He used the electric mixer.
They didn’t turn out so well.

He tried to make pancakes once too.
I had to throw away the skillet.

They are predicting a new record low for tonight. Which will be like the 5th one this year. Someone should tell NOAA that some records don’t need broken.

Worked. Made it home, lots of slipping and sliding on the black ice on the way home.

Kwyjibo

Up, caffeinated, off to work. Hockey tonight.

Don’cha hate when the alarm goes off and you were all comfy and could have slept 2 or 3 more hours?? That was this morning, in spades!!! But I’m up, my sweetie is on his way to work, and I’m having a healthy breakfast of cottage cheese and pears.

I see a day of laundry ahead. Done in the dryer - I’m not shoveling a path to my clotheslines, plus it’s not supposed to get above freezing today. ugh.

On the bright side, it’s my pension payday - woohoo!! And we’re one day closer to spring, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

Happy Firday!!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 37 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 59 for the day and sunny. I am ready for Spring time temps. NOW!

Today is payday. Thus I shall hear grumblin’ from the two people who didn’t get paid because they did not turn in their time sheets on time. Even though they already know this, I shall still hear grumblin’. Of course, bein’ the mean ol curmudgeon of a bear that I am, they shall hear me say “you’ll get paid next time around and it’s your fault for not turnin’ in your time sheet on time.” I suffer not such dumbassery.

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. At least 'tis Firday.

Happy Firday Y’all!

Good morning, mumpers! Yes, it is still morning here for another two minutes. I got paid yesterday and they did remember that I only had unpaid leave to be deducted from the month before so pay has resumed at the expected levels. Bank account is happy again, but not for long as car insurance is due in March.

'im indoors is bored with his job in Germany, he hasn’t got enough to do and can’t find extra work to fill his time. Thus he is filling his day by contemplating travel…he has a plan for Hexmas/New Year that may involve a trip to Miami and Key West. Well, flying in and out of Miami, and for me to drive us down to Key West for a week and then back to get our return flight.

One thing he has asked about, do you 'murricans know if car rental places would typically be open on Hexmas day? I am thinking probably not, but he seems convinved that we would be able to pick up a car on 25th December. Any offers?

I’d be willing to bet that the airport car rental places are pretty much always open when the airport is open.

Too bad you aren’t planning to drive in the other direction to the exciting metropolis of Ocala! <snerk> We’ll probably be there visiting with the inlaws for Christmas since we didn’t go last year. But Miami and Key West are too far away to even contemplate a meet up. But **Butters **is in the Keys…

Don’t you hate it when the cat decides she’s hungry at 5:00 a.m. and Mother Nature is demanding a conversation, when you could have slept in another 5 or 6 hours?
