I wonder how it compares to a pure track car like a Van Diemen? I can’t imagine driving a Mono for long distances would be that pleasant. Plus, how does it handle potholes, speed bumps, or even steep driveways? Looks like fun though.

Its performance specs are impressive. But I hate the way it looks. If I was going to pay out the ass for a street legal race car, I’d rather go old-school with a Lotus, Allard or Bugatti.

That car is downright silly for street use. For that kind of money, I’d go for a Singer rebuilt 911, or a completely redone and updated Jaguar E-type 2+2. Something I could just enjoy looking at as much as I’d enjoy driving.
In that video, pretty sure the white MB Wagon is Doug’s daily driver E63 AMG. Not a slow car by any stretch of the imagination, but I think it was having trouble keeping the BAC Mono in line of sight.
