Wheel of Time Book 10???

Does anyone have aclue as to when the next WOT book is coming out? I heard maybe September, but you know how these things are.

If his previous track record is anything to go by, I’d expect it about 2006. He’s been getting considerably slower between books lately.

I try not to think about it. God! I’ve been reading those damn books since I was in high school and my 10 year reunion was two years ago! I think he’s just afraid to end it, I don’t think he can.

I agree

By the time the next book comes out you have forgotten what happened in the last one so you have to read it again.

In the end I just gave up and stopped buying them.

Funky, you got that right. One time, I was reading one of his books, got about 200-300 pages in when I realized that I had read it before  If I ever decide to get the new book, if it ever comes out, I’d need to read the previous 10,000 pages just to remember what happened, sheesh!

In a fit of callousness I wisely decided not to read the series until the man died and it was over for good.

Sadly I don’t know of anything for books like the IMDB. So this is all I have. (locus)

That’s the problem, you read, then re-read the whole series to get caught up, then it’s liek 3-4 yeards before the next one. Why doesn’t TOR come out with filler notes, about 300 pages long, bringing you up to speed. I’m already getting a headache just thinking about re-reading those

I’ve actually discouraged people from picking up the first book. I agree, we should wait until he’s dead, the only way to know it’s over for good.

The new book will be called Crossroads of Twilight, and it’s currently scheduled to be published this November.

That’s in the US; the UK publication will probably be simultaneous, but it may be slightly faster, if Jordan turns in the book when he’s supposed to.

Took me a year to read eight of them and I am waiting for my husband to finish book nine so I can start that.
I thought book nine was the last one?
But from what you folks are saying I can understand what my husband was talking about when he told me that waiting a few days for him to finish book nine is nothing compaired to how long he had to wait from one book to another since he read them as they came out not like me who had the whole series in one shot.
I will have to tell him to hurry the heck up so he can get book ten so I can read my next book.
I have been reduced to reading mushy romance novels in between!
