For the record, Marmite is more a Pommie thing. All true Australians are weaned on Vegemite.

I don’t even want to talk about beetroot on hamburgers. The horror! The Horror!:eek:

Is the beetroot grated or sliced or what? I assume it’s cooked.
Pickled, sliced, uncooked.
I thought it was cooked Giles. My dear old mum used to roast her beetroot in the oven, then drown it in sugar and white vinegar to serve. On those occasions when we bought the Golden Circle tins, the texture and taste were similar enough that I believed the process to be the same.
That would be a completely different type of sandwich.
Cheeses Christ. Edam well should know better!
