At age 25, I was down to two noticable pimples per week, and maybe one serious zit every month.
At age 28, I still got one or two occasionally. At the time, it seemed to be grossly unfair… most everyone else had outgrown them.
I’m now age 30, and just realized that I just don’t get them anymore. (well, OK, I was reminded because I got one yesterday… but it was the first I’ve had this year) The change was very gradual. But thank Heaven, I’m glad I finally outgrew that phase.
Unfortunately, the next phase to grow out of is the “having hair” phase.
My facial acne started clearing up when I was about 18, and it was completely gone by the time I turned 22. I still get acne on my back, but it’s not as bad as when I was a teenager.
I’m 30 years old and still waiting. It’s not really bad acne but very annoying. Right now I have a pimple on my earlobe and under my bottom lip. Very painful.
I still get the odd plook now and then, but it seemed that the main thrust of my acne ended when I stopped using [insert famous British anti-acne product] when I was 18. Of course this could just have been co-incidence.
I’m 45, and once a month I break out like a teenager. There are currently 5 annoying pimples. And I’ve run out of the Mary Kay acne stuff that works amazingly well.
