When do you leave you house in the morning and when do you return?

I generally leave at 8:00 am and get home at 5:15 pm.

During the summer, I leave at 7:30 and get home at 5:00

I leave about 8:30 am.

When I return depends a lot on the time of the year and how much work I want to do from home. Most often, I get home between 5 and 6 pm. Outside the tax season, it’s an early day. During the tax season, it’s a 2-hour break for dinner, then I’m putting in another 4 hours of work from the home office.

I live a mile from my office, so the commute time is negligible.

I work from home, so not applicable, I guess?

In my previous job I left home between 9:30-10:00 and got home between 6:00 and 6:30.

I leave at 8, usually home by 6.

Leave around 8 AM.
Return depends on if I go to happy hour. If not, 5 PM if yes, 7 PM.

I work in Silicon Valley. I leave between 8 am and 8:15 am, and return between 6:30 and 7:00 pm depending on traffic and when I leave. I’ve got a flexible schedule, even more flexible as I near retirement and don’t give a crap.

Leave the house between 7am and 7:10am, return between 5:30pm and 5:40pm.

I leave about 7 and get home about 4:30 on a typical day.

I live in Los Angeles. Leave around 530AM, get to work around 6AM, leave work at 3PM, home by 330PM. I have the greatest commute in Southern California.

Typically, I leave the house at about 8:30 p.m. I tend to get home at about 6:00 a.m. Add a half hour to that if I want to stop at the supermarket on the way home.

Leave at 7.30am, home around 4.20pm

I work from home so right about 5 PM I leave to walk the dogs, then go to the gym, and do whatever else and get home around 8 PM.

Yeah, I’m gone just 3 hours a day :frowning:

Most days, I don’t leave my house.

I work in Silicon Valley and live just south of it.

I leave home at 7:15 and return about 5:45. The recent burgeoning economy is responsible for adding about half an hour to my total commuting time each day, and in my having to select alternate back routes most days. Traffic’s getting unbearable.

I leave home in southeast Denver a few minutes after 6 AM, arrive at work south of Denver’s Tech Center at 6:30 AM. I leave work at 4 PM and arrive home at @4:30 PM. I have a compressed schedule allowing for every other Friday off.

It varies a lot.

Sometimes I leave the house on Monday and come home on Wednesday or Thursday. Or leave Friday and return Sunday or Monday.

About the earliest I leave the house is 4:15am. About the latest I get home is 11:30 pm. Typically it takes an hour from leaving home to clocking in or clocking out to getting back home.

As a concrete example the last time I went to work I left home on Sat morning at 6:45am and got home the next day on Sunday early afternoon at 12:25pm.

I’m in El Dorado, California. I live about 25 minutes from work. I leave here at 6:23 am and get home about 4:00 pm.

If I leave here at 6:20, I encounter this one asshole who tailgates me in his large truck, so I leave at 6:23 instead.

I never see him coming home, thankfully.

I leave the house at 5:15am, return about 7pm. New England!

Chicago. I leave home at 7:00 am to walk to the train station. It’s 30-45 minutes from door to door home to work . I’m off work at 415 pm. I often have drinks and/or dinner with coworkers or friends after work. It’s the same 30-45 minute train commute back home.

I live just a five minute drive from work, I’d walk if I went to work when it was light. But I must be there no later than 5:45 AM. If I have an ordinary day I’m home by 2:00PM. That’s assuming I have no errands to run on the way home.
