When does "Cupid" premiere on CBS?

Well, if you watch CBS for 2 minutes and 12 seconds, you’re bound to see a commercial for it.

OK, you network fuckwads, I get it! You’re pinning your entire network’s summer success on a show with Simon Cowell in it.

What’s that? SIMON COWELL ISN’T EVEN THE DAMNED HOST?!?!?

Fuck that. Bring on “Big Bastard 4” with the SCANDALOUS twist that I won’t believe to start with.

I hate CBS.

Hope they’re keeping him busy, In fact I hope they’re keeping him so damn busy that he can never again get on a plane and fly back to the UK.

Thanks for keeping him occupied!

Yeah, and screw you for cancelling ALF too.

ALF was on NBC.

Oh man, I read this and I immediately think they’re bringing back the short-lived serial drama about the guy who claimed he was Cupid… Now I’m all disapointed again. :frowning:

Yeah, me too, ArrrMatey. I loved that show; watched every single episode and nearly swore off network television forever when it got cancelled.

Same here. Jeremy Piven deserved better than to be dumped like that, and now it counts as a “flop” on his resume. People like us who loved the show know better. It was sweet, funny, and sharply intelligent about life and the ways of the heart. Paula Marshall and Piven had great chemistry as doctor/patient, sparring partners and wary friends.

When Due South got cancelled I thought, no, not again, you’re not going to get me into a show that’s going to be pulled out from under me. I watched Cupid out of curiousity and immediately got hooked. So of course, it was cancelled. The networks say they keep looking for high-quality shows, but they don’t seem to know what they have when they have them, sometimes.

I won’t make the mistake again. I haven’t watched network TV since Cupid got cancelled. My Tivo stays busy with the movie channels. I know I’m missing some other good shows, but the fans of those shows will thank me. If I started watching them they’d get cancelled.

He’s the creator. He talks about having the idea. So, there you go. They’re using the creator’s success to create interest.
