Just goes to show, you always have to pretend you are the invisable man when you ride, and there IS NO SUCH THING as right of way. No matter what you get, paranoia is your friend…
The only drivers that always notice motorcyclists tend to drive those cars with flashing lights on the roof.

Hiya mr. Norman! The Divvy’s ready willing and able… but not in my posession, unfortunately. I’ll exhange this here certificate for a real license at city hall monday, and seeing as I fly to LA friday, I won’t pick up the bike until I’m back.
And it’s 20 degrees and sunny outside. Maddening. I think I’ll go and do something boring, like wash my car. It’s bound to get thoroughly neglected over the next few months. Years?
Thanks for the tips, London_Calling… On the way back to the riding school, I was trying to keep up with my instructor at 160 km/h on the Amsterdam ringway. But hey, the bike is registered in his name, so he’ll get this ticket. 
Ah well.
I suppose we’ll have to rent something and cruise the Pacific Coast Higway, then ? (That DOES have a certain style as a virgin ride, I’ll admit.)

Damn this sucks…I wanna ride now, and my Harley is just sitting out there, ready to go, but my Neurosturgeon says not was long while yet. I’m hoping in time for the Toy runs around christmas, but I’m not counting on it. I got a friend who has offered to paint it while I’m down.
What do y’all think I should paint it? I’m considering John Deere Green, and powdercoat the wheels Yellow. Theres a tractor supply store right down the street I could get John Deere stickers for the tank…
