When Texas Cheerleaders Go Bad. ==:o

Oh, those high-spirited energetic spunky Texas High School Cheerleaders, what will they think of next? Gosh. What’s more innocent and fun-loving than a “chocolate tampon” for the new Cheerleading Coach? Gee…

A 15-day Suspension hardly begins to touch it, IMHO. Apparently some parts of the country have Zero Tolerance, and down there they have uh, something else entirely.

Cartooniverse

Yikes. Kids like these are why Karana created paddles…

Hmmm, so the “ringleader” of these girls is the daughter of the school principal. Well, at least they all get a lesson in how negative actions have negative consequences.

Oh, wait…

Bad parenting.

Poor administration.
Nothing more.
This story is hardly relevant and would be completely irrelevant except for the fact that these kids were allowed to continue what thye were doing.
This is a great argument in favor of bringing back the paddle.

And after the spanking, the oral sex!

Hold on. These girls got suspended for 30 days for pictures that were taken off of school grounds? Suspend them for mouthing off to teachers and playing pranks on their coach, sure. But the school has no business butting into the girls’ private lives. Their parents should be dealing with it, if they think it’s necessary.

Except that in one of the pictures, when they were in the condom store, they were in uniform. Then I can see them being suspended for it. If not in uniform, I agree with you that the other picture, of them in bikinis, was none of the school’s business.

Teenage girls can be so vicious- thank god I don’t have any.

I came in here expecting that they had put on twin sets and taken up knitting and forensics.

Crappy article. I can’t deterine if they’ve been suspended from school or from the cheerleading squad for 15 days.

If it’s the squad, it’s far too little punishment, they should be removed from the team.

But from school? That’s insane. Half of the high-school girls in this nation have posed for some photo with a phallic object in their mouth, and two thirds have been photographed drinking. The inappropriate talk towards teachers was a slightly more serious issue, but if the administration failed to take appropriate disciplinary action at the time, I don’t think the administration can go back and apply all of the “saved up” disciplinary action.

Anyway, obviously some of them had behavior problems in the way they acted with teachers, but I don’t think that pretending to give a few candles a blow job or getting caught drinking even begins to scratch, “out of control,” behavior.

I’m normally opposed to the random insertion of Monty Python quotes into a narrative.

But that was genius.

But none of the children were left behind so it is OK.

The girls in the drinking photo got 15 day suspensions and the girls in the condom store photo got 15 day suspensions. None of the 5 are on the team but it doesn’t actually say they got kicked off.

That’s just stupid. They might be bitchy girls, but nothing they did even registers on my radar of “bad” behaivior. Underage drinking and condoms?

Punish them for the conflicts with the teachers and in-school misbehavior, but to act like teens, who might even be 18 for all I can tell, being in a condom store in uniform is wrong is just asinine.

Oh, and underage drinking in Texas?!?!? The hypocrisy boggles.

I’d have immediately canned the cheerleader who mouthed off when warned about further misbehavior.

The ridiculous behavior that they were doing was in school cheerleading uniforms, thus representing both the school and their cheerleading team.

You’re right. They should have been jailed for underage drinking.

You’re right, of course. They should have slipped out of the skimpy cheerleading outfits right before going into the condom store.

Cite?

What, no link to the pictures?

Even the picture of them in bikinis was the school’s business, because atheletics and various other after school activities require you to sign an agreement that you won’t drink, smoke, and have a curfew. I know for track I had to be indoors by a certain time even on the weekends. Those photos were proof of underage drinking, so it was the school’s business, since they as cheerleaders, are considered “ambassadors” of their school.

We’ve got kids in Georgia being tried as adults & put on the sex offender registry for life over similar incidents, and these girls (barely) get a 15 day suspension?! There ain’t no justice.
