And for Geography - Paris!
It was in 2001. In that game I was asked a question about the US Open. I thought they meant golf and answered accordingly, but it was in fact about tennis. I got it wrong. I hate sport.
I played it about a month ago. A few answers can be dated but it’s still fun.
I played it at least once in college. I remember trying to deny one of the other players a correct answer because he didn’t supply astronaut Alan Shepard’s middle initial. I think he would have been annoyed by the pettiness of my objection had it not given him the opportunity to show off by supplying Shepard’s full middle name.
About 15 years ago at Christmas. My brother’s wife had a meltdown because we were giving the kids’ team hints that we weren’t giving her. After that, I never played again and I started treating my SIL like a child.
Ten years? More?
As much as I adore trivia, it’s not a well designed game. The questions aren’t always great either, but the board game aspect is uninspired and the presence of the Roll Again squares is pointless and slows the game down.
Oh, it’s been many years. I own several versions of the game, but nobody ever wants to play it.
About six years ago, with my mother. It was a very old set, and she kicked my ass.
the best version ive ever played was when NTN trivia had an online version of it and totally removed the board game aspect of it… you spun a wheel or something to get the question categories …there were a few other twists on it but I won 3 outta 5 games first time I played back in the 90s …
Then a few months later sony bought the rights to it when they were trying to make their own version of pogo and it was just playing the bored game online
