In the neighborhood where I used to live, there were at least two older Polish men who rocked the 'stache.
I say, go for it. If anyone tries to knock it, you can be all “facial hair transcends the evil in mankind” and make a huge philosophy out of it. Do really nice, thoughtful things all the time to counteract the image and you’ll be helping destroy the bad rep the look gets.
I always thought AH had worn a Charlie Chaplin moustache.

I am going to have to say: never. As long as its associated with Adolf Hitler, it will be out of style. While you may be able to “pull it off,” you will have to spend considerable time explaining it to your kith and kin. Oh, and you may want to stay away from any WWII vets…
