When you apply for ACA insurance, you can register to vote! GOP don't LIKE that!

Still, I think this belongs more on the Stupid Republican idea of the day thread.

Voter registration forms available in random locations? Not a big deal - I can get tax paperwork in the local convenience store and the post office as well as my towns governmental offices and the damned elementary school … it isn’t as if it is difficult to find a way to register to vote - you can call the town offices pretty much anywhere in the US and request them to send you the forms to register, you can show up at the offices as well so I don’t see what the big deal is.

Oh wait - people are sheep and tend to do silly stuff like check off the box of whichever party hands them the forms, so if a specific party isn’t handing them out the poor sheeple might make a mistake and make a decision for themselves.

Covered.

Good thing the Republicans have been doing their all to dispel that notion, right?

If the GOP is so worried about people getting the wrong idea, I have a great solution. Have GOP operatives at every health care exchange registration location and tell people that no, the GOP does NOT support them getting health insurance and that by voting for the GOP, you will be casting a vote to NOT have health insurance. I’d love to see that

At the risk of undeserved insult, you do realise, don’t you, that registering to vote in no way obligates your voting preference, yes?

You may as well just transfer this to the pit…seriously. It’s clearly not a discussion.

All I said was I have no political leanings, due to my ignorance of any politician’s opinions, except for Obama - because his opinions are all over the news all the time.

So all of a sudden, my input to the discussion is inferior - because I give no credence to the partisan bullcrap? Please. I jokingly called Barack “OBLAMMA” - an admittedly lame joke.

It’s not like anyone’s bothering to bring any actual conversation to this thread. Certainly not debating anything here.

Partisan political peripheral penis pulling party, this is.
