Whence NYMUG?

I saw an item about MacWorld here in New York. It made me a little nostalgic for the New York Mac Users Group (NYMUG) that I was involved in during the early 90’s.

I tried the URL but I just got an offer to buy. Searching via google just brings up old pages with the old link. It isn’t in the user group list on the Apple site.

Assuming that they aren’t faking me out for looking up this info from a Windows machine, :frowning: I’m very surprised. This was a very active group.

Does anyone know what happened to them? And when?

I think they morphed into the Metropolitan New York Macintosh Alliance (MetroMac) – http://www.metromac.org

Perhaps if you email them they will tell you what happened.
