Where can I buy a Ninja Remote (or equivalent)?

My father has been in the hospital for awhile and will remain there for a couple weeks. They keep moving him to a new room every couple days and usually there is either no remote or it only turns the TV on or off.

So I thought it would be useful to buy him a Ninja Remote or similar key chain sized universal remote. I don’t want to wait for it to be shipped and would like to avoid paying for overnight shipping if I could.

I looked in the remotes area at Walmart on my way home but didn’t find anything. Any ideas who might carry them?

Looks like Amazon and ThinkGeek are it.

Why not just get a standard cheap universal remote?

He’s not lucid enough yet to dial his cell phone but coherent enough to answer it. I was looking for simplicity for both normal use and reprogramming it when they move him around.

Maybe they can help you find a retailer or cut you a deal on shipping (or maybe they’re close enough that ground is a one- or two-day ship).
