Subject says it all. I can’t find the damn thing, and I hate having to manually change the channels. Pisses me off.
I’ve a friend who has a nifty tv/remote combo. When you can’t find the remote, you press a button on the tv & it sends a signal to the remote. The remote then starts beeping. Great idea!
Yeah it is a great idea…if the batteries on the remote don’t die. ROFL

My son used to lose his teddy bear all the time when he was little. I found one of those clapper key chains and put it in the bear–always made him easy to find after that. But that probably won’t work with the remote so…nevermind.
I hate it when I can’t find the damned thing. Have you checked between the couch cushions–there’s all kinds of funky stuff in there.

Do you have roommates? On more than one occasion I’ve caught roommates wandering off to bed in a drunken haze, remote still in hand.

Check under your sofa cushions, and under the sofa itself. If you can’t find it there, you wandered into another room - search your entire house until you’re ready to rip your hair out.
Then, purchase a remote with a “find” option…
Or, as a last resort, get up and change the channel.
I’m actually considering hiding all of ours so that the channel isn’t changed every freaking 3 seconds!

You could do what I did when I lived at home…get some of those little velcro stickyback circles from the hardware store and stick one set (a sticker and a stickee) to the tv and the remote. When you are done with the remote, stick it to the TV and you’ll NEVER lose it.

These colors are essentially camoflage in a dimly lit living room. :mad:
Make it in a fluorescent blue & red tigerstripe pattern. It wouldn’t cost anymore than a regular one, & would be cheaper than the beeping ones mentioned above.

I found it. Was under the mastress. Have no idea how it got there. Obvioulsy a heavy sex session. It was worth it. I blamed my dog. Not her fault. Got a pic if you want to see. I’m proud. She is pure mutt by the way.
