I like the Bauhaus styles, unfortunately, I am not rich. Good reproductions are very difficult to find (here in NE, people want Colonial-style furniture-ugh!), and originals are museum pieces-plus, they are fragile (80+ years old). Take a Wegener table lamp-I saw one on ebay-it was geniune-went for $780.00! Oddly enough, a co-worker bought a plastic reproduction of this Wegener lamp for less than $40.00-I’ve never seen it again.
As for a Bauhaus-style house-I can only dream! :smack:
I’ve seen some stuff that looks a lot like Mies’ designs at Ikea of all places, if you’re just going for approximate aesthetic.

I think you should just keep putting the key words you want into Google.
Have you tried the Design Within Reach chain?
Design Within Reach is very deceptively named. They have the most expensive furniture in Palo Alto.
While I agree that DWR isn’t really “within reach”, it does have a few affordable pieces among its collection, so it might be worth checking out anyway. And if you happen to be near a studio, you could probably catch the tail end of a floor sample sale right now.
