Where can I find 1920's costumes to rent in Chicago?

I am going to a premiere for Boardwalk Empire next week and it is suggested guests dress in 1920’s style garb.

Thing is neither me nor my GF own anything like that.

Anyone have a clue on a good place to either rent or buy such things in Chicago?

Thanks in advance!

IOW, go as Captain Kirk if you can’t find any 20s clothes. Everybody’s got Star Trek TOS uniforms, right? Just talk funny and put your phasers on stun.

Try Target, in the Halloween section.

This the right time of year. There are three (temporary) Halloween costume shops within a few blocks of Clark and Diversey at the moment.

There is also a permanent costume shop on Fullerton just west of Sheffield. Any of them would be worth checking out.

There is also a costume shop in Portage Park, on Milwuakee Avenue, just north of Irving Park Road. Ah, here it is:

Every fall for the past few years a seasonal Halloween costume shop has opened up on Clybourn in whatever storefront they can get cheap. There’s one there now. I forget the name or exact address, but if you drive down Clybourn between Fullerton/Ashland and Armitage/Racine and look on the NE side of the street, you can’t miss it. 1920s gear (flapper dresses, top hats and swallowtail jackets, etc.) is a costume shop mainstay; I’m pretty sure you’ll find something.
