Where can I find high heeled sneakers?

No, you’re not the only ones that understand this, but why are you pulling lyrics from “Devil With The Blue Dress”? You could go right to the heart of the matter, namely Tommy Tucker’s “High Heel Sneakers” (1964). A small excerpt from the lyrics:

Put on your red dress, baby
Lord, we’re goin’ out tonight
Put on your red dress, baby
Well, we’re goin’ out tonight
And bring along some boxin’ gloves
'case some fool might wanna fight

Put on your high-heel sneakers
Wear your wig-hat on your head
Put on your high-heel sneakers, child
Wear your wig-hat on your head
Ya know you’re looking mighty fine, baby
I’m pretty sure you’re gonna knock 'em dead

This summer I saw a teen-girl wearing high-heeled sneakers. They were red+white, high tops with white laces. Kinda’ went with her overall look and the style of the rest of her outfit, but it wouldn’t be for everybody.

What you need is something like the Arched Cowboy Boot.

Here’s the site but it’s NSFW so I’m disabling the link. (“http://www.newagequest.com/HH/moreheels.html#4”)

And here’s a SFW sketch of what’s being described.

Thing is I’ve only read about these type of shoes for fetish shoe wearers who stay in training full-time and have Ankle Equinus, the permanent shortening of the calf and Achilles tendons. I’ve never actually seen a site who actually sells these shoes. I suspect it’s something that would have to be custom made.

Barring the custom made boots, I’d look for a wedge loafer. I think that’d be the best bet for a stable walking shoe.

I’m not going to wear “nothing but” high heels. That has never been my intention. I just want the option of wearing heels but at the same time getting the comfort and support of a sneaker.

I’ve got the gel insoles in a pair of boots that I’ve been wearing but it’s not nearly enough squishy. I also wear a double thickness of socks.

Hell the VAST majority of the time I go barefoot or wear Birkies (special fake-leather ones).

Z-coils your feet will love you for it.

Those look neat… unfortunately the only ones that don’t have leather on them are the sandals.

I read that article a couple times, and it says ‘heels over 35 cm high are bad for you over the long term’, but the thing is, 35 cm has to be a typo. Maybe they forgot the decimal point - 3.5 cm sounds more likely, no?

It says 35mm not 35cm

Ah I see the cm. It must be a typo because it says mm 2 paragraphs earlier.

You can only wear high heel sneakers with a red dress
