Haha. It’s not Buddha, its Siva. But seriously a nice job with the starry background. I really like it.
That’s pretty good! I’m the guy who tried it first and could not get that background right. I was just trying to work with the magenta channel which was probably the wrong idea.
It’s a good place to start. I did that to get the black background, but I also used a mask to isolate spill, and then for the other one I also layered over a solid blue and played with the opacity and layer-styles to get it looking just right.
Ironically, when I did a Google search for a higher quality image, I found several that had a different figure, who I think might have been a Buddha.
Ah yes, I did a search now myself and yes there is a Buddha image as well. Can’t say which is the original one though.
