Hello, fellow Dallas dopers!
Does anyone around these parts like Indian food? Do you have any recommendations for me? I’ve been looking for a great Indian place for a long time now, and I’ve not had much luck.
Help me, I’m jonesin’.

India Palace on 635 @ Preston (SW corner) is pretty damn good, as is Roti Grill on McKinney just south of Knox (by Sushi on McKinney).
Beyond that, there’s an Indian buffet in Las Colinas on Las Colinas Blvd, but I don’t remember the name of it off hand.
There’s also the Clay Pit in Addison on Beltline near Midway. I haven’t been there, but some Indian friends in grad school say it’s good.
I’m sure there are others; most likely in Richardson, but I don’t know what or where they are.
There is a place in South Richardson, on the SW corner of Beltline and Central, that is suppossed to be really good/authentic. I haven’t actually been there yet. The Clay Pit is good.
There’s another Roti near Willowbend mall. They have a great lunch buffet. I especially like the chicken tikka masala.
Also has a good buffet, but I like Roti’s better.
Damn, now I’m craving naan. Dang you to heck!
