Where Could I Find a Copy of an Old Insurance Policy?

When I was a kid, my grandfather told me about an uncle of his who’d bought an insurance policy that was supposed to cover your medical bills if you broke your arm while trying to crank start a car. (His uncle did break his arm while trying to start a neighbors car, and the insurance company refused to pay, since it wasn’t his car.) Now, I’m not trying to find the exact policy that his uncle had, but I’d be interested in seeing a copy of a similar policy from that time period. Anybody know if they’re on the web?

I’ve never heard of it before, but it sounds like something a manufacturer might use as an advertising gimmick. My dad owned several cars in the era of crank starting and my grandfather had a Chevy dealership in the 30’s. I doubt it would have been Ford, as he was pretty simplistic in his marketing ideas. Does Hemmings have a message board? Someone that frequents their site, or other antique car site, might know.
