Where did you go to college?

Otis, back when it was Otis-Parsons.

Penn Valley Community College Kansas City Mo - Nursing
University of Kansas School of Nursing
Before Og was born.

Oh, I almost forgot University of Missouri at Kansas City for 1 month. Med School hated it. Og was a child then.

Hampshire College, B.A. in psychology/sociology/anthropology. (to quote a grad, “That’s Hampshire College. Amherst, Massachusetts.”)

State University of West Georgia (West Georgia College for a good bit of it, but they changed the name just before I graduated), M.A., psychology.

1.5 semesters away from an Ed.S. in community counseling from S.U.W.G. (yeah, it spells “sewage.” But for the love of Og, don’t let the president of the uni hear you say that).

BA - 1964, the University of Iowa (then the State University of Iowa, as opposed to Iowa State University) with majors in history and art history. Try basing a career on that academic foundation.

Then reality struck: JD - 1967, the University of Iowa.

I can’t help but wonder if any art historians are working in their field.

Thanks…I appreciate it!! I wasn’t sure if I qualified since I’m not quite yet technically an alumnus, but it’s the thought that counts

I was a Beta. Do I know you?

I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I got a B.S. in Psychology. (English minor.)

I don’t often post (obviously) but I noticed someone else from UL that majored and minored in the same things I did, funnily enough. So, hey, Mambocrow!

Carnegie Mellon University
Carnegie Institute of Technology, '99
Pittsburgh, PA
Mechanical Engineering

meathead, I’ve heard of Grove City. Three of my cousins went there, as well as their parents.

slu, no, Johnstown isn’t the armpit of PA, but it’s pretty close. I think the winner might have to be Centralia, the place with the unextinguishable underground coal fire.

Currently going to the College of Charleston, class of 2008. Planning to major in political science and economics and minor in history if I need the hours, which somehow seems unlikely.

Hi, Wartime Consigliori! When did you go to CofC? I am tickled pink to find another College of Charleston student/alumnus, besides Catalyst and myself.

I’m an English major and Secondary Education minor. Perhaps by the time I graduate (2007), Secondary Ed will be a major here. ::crosses fingers::

av8rmike, were you by any chance an AEPi? I know two brothers that are members of that frat and went through CMU around then.

Clark University in lovely Worcester Mass.
International Development major in two separate stints ranging from 1991-98.
I loved that place, I don’t expect there are other Clarkies here.

 ;j
I was. Check your e-mail.

OMG you must be shitting me! I went to CUP too! Class of 2003, English major (creative writing concentration). This is seriously freaky.

Currently I’m in a distance M.A. program for genre fiction writing at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. If there is anyone here in that program I think I am going to die.

The Johns Hopkins University (always remember the “The” and that it’s “Johns”) 1980-83 but did not finish (though I stuck around that area for the next 10 years). Majors alternated between Natural Science Interdisciplinary, and Geography.

Almost 20 years later, after a couple of years at American of Puerto Rico (Communications), finally formalized the degree thru Excelsior of Albany NY (LibArts).

My cousin used to teach at Otis-Parsons.

Robin

I’d like the rest of the Dopers to please note that Ringo is stalking me…
