Although I worked fora few months in the TV business, I got fired and was never able to find another job in the field. I did some freelance, but it was never enough to support me.

University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Class of 04

SUNY Stony Brook, BA Multidisciplenary Studies, 2002
Molloy College, I will have a BSW at the end of this year
Fordham Univeristy next year for an MSW if all goes according to plan

**Moe ** also went to SUNY SB, that’s where we met and became friends, he just doesn’t post much lately so I’m mentioning him.

twickster, I wanted to go to Drew U. It was my first choice (I loved the campus) but they gave me squat in aid.

Oh hell, I still can’t spell Multidisciplinary right and it’s my damn degree. And FWIW, the multiple disciplines were Spanish, Theater and Linguistics.

Man, I can’t believe I’m the only 'cane on the board - University of Miami, graduated in 1987- BA in Telecommunications, as they used to call it, minored in English Lit. I was qualified to work at Radio Shack.

I also went to Brown Institute of Broadcasting, which I’m pretty sure was closed down by the feds as a big scam. But hey - Wink Martindale was a grad!

BTW, Misnomer - I drive past Cabrini at least once a month on my way to see my SO who lives in St Davids, PA.

Yep: we had no greek system or football team, but we definitely had some kick-ass basketball. Go, Cavs!

Wow, I guess I picked Cabrini for no reason, then! I’m kidding, of course: I’m sure I would have had a wonderful experience at Bradford, but I’ve never regretted my choice.

Yep, St. David’s is the next town over. Used to drive through there quite often in my undergrad days.

Wow, who knew that so many Dopers actually have heard of Cabrini! I’ll still be more than a little surprised if anyone else graduated from there, though…

On a somewhat related note, I found out today that one of my co-workers (a recent hire) went to the same grade school as me! I work for a small company in Virginia and the school was a small, Catholic school in Maryland, so the odds of that happening have gotta be like…um…well, not very small. {grin} I didn’t recognize the guy’s name because he’s 4 years younger than me, but he knew my brother. Even weirder, his brother used to work with my brother! I’m having a lot of “small world” syndrome this week…

I’m currently going to Penn Valley Community College here in Kansas City, Missouri (although I spend all of my time in the Carter Art Center at said school). After that, I’m not sure where I’m going to go.

Yea! Another Scottie here – class of 2000!

UNC Greensboro, 1999-2002, BA in Psychology. Spent the last semester of my senior year at Växjö Universitet in Southeast Sweden studying I/O Psych with a focus on cross-cultural comparison. And am applying to the MBA program at East Carolina University with the hope of starting in Spring '05.

I graduated from Uni. of Milwaukee in 1997 with a BA in anthropology and a minor in comparative religion.

I’m currently attending Cal. State, Northridge and working on an MA in anthropology. I should graduate in spring of '05.

Currently attending Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. I’m a Communications/Journalism major and (probably) a history minor. Hopefully, I’ll graduate in December of 2005. ::crosses fingers::

Bright College Years, with pleasure rife,
The shortest, gladdest years of life;
How swiftly are ye gliding by!
Oh, why doth time so quickly fly?

The seasons come, the seasons go,
The earth is green or white with snow,
But time and change shall naught avail
To break the friendships formed at Yale.

In after years, should troubles rise
To cloud the blue of sunny skies,
How bright will seem, through mem’ry’s haze
Those happy, golden, bygone days!

Oh, let us strive that ever we
May let these words our watch-cry be,
Where’er upon life’s sea we sail:
“For God, for Country and for Yale!”

– Uke, class of '82 (JE)

I’m attending McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. I’m graduating this December with a B.S. in accounting, and probably staying for an MBA, if I don’t decide to go to a school that offers a Master’s in accounting.

What can I say, I like the pain.
