Where do I find this obscure plastic furniture part?

I have a dresser. The drawers each slide out on just a single central rail, with the sides of the drawers sliding on little plastic pieces that are attached to the frame. A couple of those are missing.

I’m wondering how I would find replacements for those. I don’t know who made the dresser. I don’t know how to go searching for them, since basically what I’m looking for is a couple little pieces of plastic which is very vague. The pieces were a little less then a tenth of an inch thick, and the edges were rounded downward. I’ve googled for “plastic slider” and found nothing.

It’s possible I could try to cut them down from another piece. The best thing I see is I can buy a sheet of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) from Smallparts. They say HDPE has low friction and is self-lubricating. Does anyone know where I could find the parts I’m looking for, or does anyone have a better solution than mine?

Do they look like any of these?

You could also check with your local hardware store, if there is a good one around. Home Depot may carry it as well.

Sounds like the Ikea dresser I have for Geek Child #3. If it is an Ikea dresser, take the broken piece to Ikea so they can match it up. They’ll give you a replacement for free.

That one looks about like what I need, except mine are just single flat pieces, not like the L-shape of that. Maybe I could buy those and cut the upright part off.

The orginal ones were also nailed in, but if I cut my own out of a sheet, I was going to superglue them.

I’ve seen such in TrueValue and ACE hardware stores.
