Where does IE6.0 store login information?

I was trying to log in to a site, and accidentally typed my log in information incorrectly. Unfortunately, when IE6.0 offered to store my name and password, I accepted (it is my local public library network accessed through my work computer, so I wasn’t concerned about security). So now I have the incorrect log-in information on a pulldown when I access the site.

Where is this information stored, or at least how can I delete this and start again? A brief stroll through the Cookies directory wasn’t helpful, and I’m lost after that. If necessary, I can clean out all my cookies, but I am hoping that is a last resort.

thanks, plynck

Have you tried just using the delete key on the pull-down entry, or possibly ctl-delete?

:o …Okay, that was mortifying… :o

I tried right-clicking, and gave up when it didn’t work. Trust me to look for a difficult way to solve an easy problem…

Thanks
