Where else do you post?

I frequently post on the Mindphaser forum (for fans of the band Front Line Assembly)

I rarely post anywhere else, but I do occasionally drop by a couple of other related boards (devoted to The Cure and Skinny Puppy, respectively), and once in a blue moon, I visit the official Nine Inch Nails forum, although I usually just wind up getting pissed off and go trolling for baby bats.

Here’s another question: What other names do you use? All my previous screen names have pretty much been laid to rest, except for neuro-trash grrrl and christabel. If you happen to visit the NIN forum (and I don’t recommend that you do), and see a flame from someone named christabel who actually knows how to spell and use punctuation, be sure to say hi.

An infinite number of rednecks in an infinite number of pickup trucks shooting an infinite number of shotguns at an infinite number of road signs will eventually produce all the world’s great works of literature in Braille.

Interesting topic!

I read mostly and post rarely on a few professional BB and a few book/reading related things (suprise, suprise!) And, no, not under the same name.

This place is addictive: high intelligence, low tolerance for bullshit, great tolerance for clearly expresed expression of viewpoints. All in all, this place synthesizes an amazing range of interests and people. Great credit to Ed/Cece, the mods and assorted Dopers.

I post at the Left Behind Message Board, much to their consternation…

Yer pal,
Satan

This seems timely.

I’ve posted on the Oprah board on occasion if I happen to watch the show and there’s an interesting topic. It can get quite heated but you have to watch what you say very carefully. There are trolls there and you can’t let them have it, much to my dismay.

The only other MB I post on is the Public Forum at www.wheresgeorge.com and that only occasionally. That’s my other big web-obsession.

I still post at www.hardwarecentral.com (I’m beatle there, as well), but nowhere near my frequency here. And I’m quite active on a 3D seismic interpretation maillist (which works a lot like a message board).

Pretty much just here and bathroom walls.

dammit, funneefarmer took my joke!

I sold my soul to Satan for a dollar. I got it in the mail.

Beatle brings up a good second question - do we all use the same online identities at these places?

www.mountainzone.com

I post on the Everest Forum. It gets really interesting at this time of year because this is when a lot of teams begin their expeditions. It was especially cool last year when the body of George Leigh Mallory was discovered.

I also post relatively often on slashdot. Mostly on political issues or Jon Katz’s (whom I think is cool) articles.

Over there I’m The_Morlock. (I kinda dig the underscore-in-the-UID thing. It makes me look all old-school-ish. hahaha)

Only dangerous men.

Does anyone know of a definitive list of all UBB boards ? I have looked into some of the others listed above, but none seem to be able to touch this place. Mayhap i am little spoiled ?

I also post on the MP3.com Artist Area BB, the Ko&#1071n BB (mostly for the entertainment value), and a local music BB called Cringe.

…Ska and Punk never tasted so good together!

Dude! Howd you get the R turned around like that?

Also, all other boards suck. SDMB KIKS ASS!

Where’s my side of FUN!?

Kisses!

www.guitar.com has a discussion board that I post to.

Trying is the first step to failure

Well, I don’t post much even here, but I post even less in the www.ageofkings.com forum page. I dunno its exact url. I just use the same name. Most of my posts were in the Knights of the Round Table forum, until it got ‘cleansed’.
<resisting mind control>…
there…are…other message boards…
there…are…<ack!>

I also post at http://www.sisweb.com/math/messageboard/ sometimes to help people with math problems. This and that board are about it for me.
